UFO sightings, follow them on the Internet

UFOs are unidentified flying objects, which have caused much controversy since several years ago. Some people believe in its existence, while others are not completely safe, whatever the case, there are very large communities that specializes in the study of such objects. Now they have harnessed the potential of the Internet to apply their knowledge and share with the world. Such tools are becoming more popular every day, so it's not hard to find websites focused on the study of this phenomenon.

Although there are many pages which you can follow the sighting of these objects, I would like to talk about a specific site. Using Google Maps technology, you can see graphically the places in the world where there have been recent encounters with UFOs.

UFOmaps takes advantage of Google Maps, showing a short message and a picture of a flying saucer on the site where the alleged UFO was seen. By clicking on the image can read a short message describing the event, and although it offers lots of information, is a good start to begin to track these occurrences.

There are too many entries on this site, and most are in the U.S., although you can also find notices of sightings in other countries like Mexico or Spain. Something interesting to note, is that most of the reports occurred in the eastern U.S. coast, particularly in northern New York near the Canadian border. For convenience, in UFOmaps site, you can filter searches by city.

This is just a small resource that can serve those who are interested in the UFO phenomenon, although in truth, there are hundreds of sites with which you can make interesting follow-ups. If you know of one such site, I recommend the comments section because there are a number of people speaking to these types of events, which can be very useful such resources.
